Dave Summers

Dave was born in the south of England and currently lives in Wiltshire, England.

His mother tongue is English.

He teaches Standard British English  i.e. "RP" (received pronunciation), but he is also proficient in American English and several other "flavours" of English.

Until 20 years ago, Dave worked in the world of business and computing. He has been employed, either directly or indirectly, by several international organisations, including: JP Morgan Chase and Axa Insurance. Therefore, he is also well qualified to teach business and technical English.

His passion is language, the teaching of language and the history of the English language. 

Although most of his private students are Italian, he teaches English to a wide range of other nationalities through his work teaching refugees arriving in the U.K.
